Trask Land Company and Novant Health have entered into a development agreement where Trask Land provides development services for Novant Health at the Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center campus, which sits on nearly 100 acres of land in Brunswick County. Future development plans include expansion of the Brunswick Medical Center to include more medical office space and other commercial services to meet Brunswick County’s growing needs.
“We think there is existing demand, and we are already working with potential medical office users,” said Trask Land Company president, Raiford Trask III. “North of the new N.C. 211 interchange, I think you can expect to see multifamily, restaurants and hospitality that feed off the medical center.”
“Brunswick County continues to be one of the fastest growing areas in the state and country,” said Shelbourne Stevens, president and chief operating officer at Novant Health Brunswick medical Center. “Novant Health is constantly looking at opportunities to expand options for care and improve access to meet these growing needs. By partnering with Trask Land Company, this gives us the opportunity to look at additional ways to expand medical office space and continue to grow healthcare services for our community.”
