Blue Clay Farms is an assemblage of over 1,000 acres owned by the Trask Family in New Hanover County, North Carolina. Trask Land Company led the rezoning effort for 740 acres of this parcel in 2006 to Planned Development, which is New Hanover County’s version of the city’s Mixed Use zoning. The rezoning was unanimously approved, and when fully built out, Blue Clay Farms is expected to add an estimated $2 billion in property values to New Hanover County tax rolls.
